It came as a total gift from the great mystery of my sexuality, wrapped in delicious urban grooves and spiced by the air that I suddenly allowed myself to inhale freely in the midst of unraveling the power of my inner flute. Those of you who are familiar with Tantric terms know exactly what I am talking about. The rest of you - go, go, for crying out loud - let yourselves go and find out!!!
Please Don't Run Away (audio) This is a soul wrenching love song, desperately trying to keep a friendship from breaking apart. It is also a courageous outpouring of my true feelings at a time when I had plenty of sensorship happening in the emotional department. This song, like so many of the ones that ended up on this album signified a moment of powerful transformation in my life, and magically helped me through, like only music can do.
Beautiful Little Girl (audio) I wrote this song for my mom after realizing some of the things she had to go through, growing up in a country under siege, and stepping into a post World War II environment where you just didnt talk about what was bothering you. Realizing these things made so many pieces of the puzzle that was my mom come together, and it made me love her so much more than I had allowed myself in the past.
Deep Blue Sea (audio) This is another favorite of mine, because it takes me into the mystery that summons our passions, hauntingly demonstrating the diametric forces within the soul and gently bringing us home to love in groovy soundscapes of healing energies.

Compassion is dedicated to Stefanie Stroh - a dear friend of Caroline's who has been missing since 1987.

Caroline created her alter ego stage persona, Me Jane, as a warm up act for the Caroline Waters Band at the annual Wild Waters Party in Oslo.

Me Jane is Norway's female answer to Austin Powers and is described as a cross between Nina Hagen and Geri Halliway.
